Answer: Yes, absolutely! monday.com has big plans for AI in 2025, and the platform will be evolving with even more advanced AI features designed to help you streamline workflows and make smarter decisions. During the AMA, we shared some exciting insights from monday.com’s 2025 roadmap, including the introduction of AI-driven risk management features and AI-analysed reports.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s to come:
AI Risk Management: monday.com will soon be able to automatically identify risks across hundreds of projects. This feature will continuously execute AI insights, highlighting urgent risks, so you can take action faster. It’s all about staying ahead of the curve and managing projects proactively.
AI-Driven Portfolio Report: With the new portfolio report, you’ll be able to spot key trends at a glance and uncover potential risks with clear, data-backed summaries. The AI will analyse patterns and insights, turning complex data into easy-to-understand summaries, charts, and key metrics that will help you make informed decisions.
It’s clear that monday.com’s AI capabilities will only get more powerful as the year progresses.

Answer: Yes, you can! While formulas are one way to dynamically insert values, there are alternative methods to include column values in a description without using formulas.
Cian explains two methods during the AMA session:
Automation Method: The first option is setting up an automation to update the description whenever a column value changes. You can set it up by saying, “When a column changes, create an update with this text.” The automation will automatically take the dynamic value from the column and update the description for you.
Monday Docs Method: Another way is using monday.com Docs. In monday Docs, you can easily bring dynamic values from your boards into a document. To do this, go to “More Options” in the document, select “Dynamic Values”, then choose “Column Values”. This will automatically pull in the relevant data from your board directly into your document, making it easy to manage and share dynamic information.

Answer: Yes, you can send emails ad hoc within monday.com’s Work Management tool. However, if you’re looking to bulk send or mass email, you’ll need monday CRM, which is specifically designed for sales pipelines and business processes where mass communication is essential.
In Work Management, to send emails, simply open a task on your board, click on the “+” button, select “Add a View,” and choose “Emails and Activities.” However, keep in mind that this feature will soon be a paid add-on, so be sure to check if it’s a fit for your needs.
The first time you use it, you’ll need to integrate your email address, but once that’s done, you can use features like templates and quick population to make the process more efficient.
If you find yourself frequently needing this feature and want more robust options, monday CRM is the next step. It’s designed to handle bulk emails, sales processes, and integrations at scale. Answer: The email notification titles in monday.com are part of the platform’s standard functionality, and they usually include the entire content of the notification in the subject line. Unfortunately, this can’t be customised in the default notification settings.
However, Cian explains that you do have some control over user notifications. To manage your email notifications, go to the Administration section, then head to Customisation and select “User Notifications”. From there, you can tick or untick different notifications to control what you receive, helping tailor the experience to your preferences.
Watch Cian’s explanation in the video below to see how you can manage your notifications and customise your own automated emails.
Answer: While monday.com doesn’t offer an official way to group widgets together within a dashboard, Cian shares a clever workaround to help you organise them. You can move widgets around and position them closer together, and if you want to give them a title, simply add a text widget and use it as a title for the grouped widgets.
This is a great example of how, even though no platform is perfect, our experts can help you get as close to your ideal setup as possible. These little workarounds can help you create a more organised, intuitive dashboard, and while this feature isn’t available yet, hopefully, it will be added in future updates.

Answer: monday Service is the latest addition to the monday.com platform, designed specifically to streamline the service experience for support teams. It’s a ticket-based system that includes built-in automations, AI features, and automatic responses to help you manage and resolve customer requests efficiently.
Amy explains that monday Service comes with a fully customisable portal, where users can submit their tickets, similar to software like Jira, but with the added benefit of being fully integrated into monday.com. You can even customise the portal to match your branding, ensuring it aligns with your team’s unique needs.
The real advantage here is that monday Service consolidates everything into one platform, eliminating the need for external tools. By using monday.com for both project management and service management, you create a single source of truth for your team, making it easier to stay organised and reduce tool overload. Less fragmentation means lower costs and more efficiency in your processes.

Answer: Yes, monday.com has a mobile app that allows you to perform most of the tasks you can do on the desktop version, making it easy to stay productive while on the go. Cian explains that while there are a few limitations, like the inability to mass email, the app has been regularly updated with a faster engine to ensure smooth animations and a better overall user experience.
For teams on the move, the mobile app is crucial. Being able to update their tasks, perform audits, or collect data in real-time without needing to be at a computer is essential. And the monday.com app ensures that all information syncs seamlessly with the desktop version, making it just as robust and user-friendly.
Answer: As of now, automations on mirror columns aren’t possible, but Cian mentions that it may be something we see in the future. While there’s no confirmed timeline yet, monday.com is always evolving, and features like this can be implemented based on user feedback and needs.
Speaking of feedback, Amy shows us how you can submit your ideas directly to the monday.com development team, by simply navigating to the Help button at the bottom right of your screen, select “Contact Us”, and then choose “Submit an Idea”. From there, you can share your suggestions, check if anyone else has submitted a similar idea, and keep an eye on whether it gets rolled out in future updates.
This is just one of the reasons why monday.com is so great – they listen to their users and are constantly working to improve the platform to make it better and more usable for all teams.
