 Provident CRM’s New Home

Provident CRM Return to Work After Covid-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 has completely changed the way in which we all live our lives. It has also had a major impact on how we do our jobs on a day-to-day basis. For the majority of 2020, we’ve been working from home, at the kitchen table, in the spare room, or simply anywhere that we could manage. However, 2021 could see many people returning to work as normal after the pandemic is under control.

In fact, Provident CRM has moved to a brand new office! We will now be based at Dogpatch Labs on Custom House Quay—our new home from this month onwards, and we’re very excited!

Here at Provident, we’re obsessed with nurturing a culture of innovation, which is why we’re so thrilled to call Dogpatch Labs Provident CRM’s new home.

You can read our blog post here about how you can also create a culture of innovation at your workplace!

What is Dogpatch Labs?

Dogpatch Labs is an enterprise hub located in the historic CHQ Building in the heart of Dublin’s Digital Docklands. Their mission is to accelerate the development of Ireland’s startup ecosystem by providing a valuable community—a community we’re excited to be a part of. The Labs are home to over 45 companies and over 300 members, with alumni including many of the world’s biggest tech companies such as Instagram, Intercom, Boxever, Voysis, Twilio, Logentries, and Profitero.

So, what exactly is the new space like?

Dogpatch Labs is made up of three major parts—the ground floor, the Vaults and the Urban Garden.

The ground floor is a former furniture store which began development in January 2015. A young and dynamic team was assembled and tasked with drawing up plans and designs for a unique coworking space.

The Vaults are made up of 200-year-old former whiskey vaults that have been turned into a world-class events and meeting room space. Talk about a one-of-a-kind place to work!

The Urban Garden has allowed Dogpatch Labs to become Ireland’s largest startup hub. Half of the space serves as hotdesking space for entrepreneurs, while the other half is dedicated to office space for Pivotal Labs. The Urban Garden also serves as an events space for the community, hosting meetups, hackathons, innovation workshops, and our increasingly popular monthly program “First Fridays For Startups”.

Returning to work: safety is first!

We’ve been working hard to carefully put together guidelines to ensure that all our staff are safe, well, and comfortable upon returning to work. We’ve been focusing on sanitisation, social distancing, signage, and are maintaining open lines of communication and transparency among all of our staff members in regards to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. All common areas in our new space will be disinfected on an hourly basis, with complimentary sanitising products provided to all our staff.

There are likely many more new changes and processes that will come along with life in 2021 and returning to work. We’re confident that Dogpatch Labs will be early to innovate and foster any necessary changes.

When it comes to the health and wellbeing of our people, we’re taking no risks! We’re excited to settle into our new home!
