Provident was founded at the beginning of the new millenium, a technology consultancy company designed to facilitate clients adopting new technologies and leveraging the most value from them. Now, nearly twenty years, Provident continues to adopt and distribute the latest technologies and most effective business processes. 2000

Provident Founded

Provident Technology was established in the coastal suburb of Clontarf in April, 2000. Innitially a Telecoms SI Software Consultancy and IBM Lotus Developers, the company expanded to offer managed IT services; earning a reputation for being an indespensible long-term partner, supporting and advising customers and helping business expand.

2007

Partnered with SugerCRM

Provident became a SugarCRM implementation partner in 2007. Consistently delivering customer success, Provident quickly becoming Sugar's leading partner in Ireland, helping customers grow and prosper through leveraging the enterprise quality Customer Relationship Management software.

2008

SugarCRM Gold Partner Status Achieved

Expanding SugarCRM implementation services to the UK, Provident secured many high-profile clients, such as the Quinn Group and National Health Service (NHS). In recognition of Provident's achievements SugarCRM awarded the company Gold Partner Status in 2008 and was subsequently invited to join the SugarCRM European Alliance - a coalition of the top Gold Partners.

2010

First UK Branch Opened - Manchester

Having been SugarCRM's leading Irish partner for several years, Provident opened their First UK office in Didsbury, Manchester to better target and support UK businesses. SugarCRM Co-Founder and CP of Products stated: "We're extremely pleased to welcome the Provident CRM team to the UK and look forward to working with them as they continue with their strategy of internationalisation."

2014

SugarCRM Elite Partner Status Achieved

Provident CRM awarded Elite Partner Status, at the time referred to as the Three-Star Award. The award recognises excellence as a SugarCRM implementation partner, measured through customer approval ratings and consistent participation in the partner program over several years.

2015

Second UK Branch Opened - London

Compelled by the continuing success of the company's expansion into the UK, and increasing customer demand, Provident opened their second UK premises in Wood Street, London; the historical centre and primary financial district of the city. 

2017

Awarded SugarCRM EMEA Partner of the Year

At the SugarCRM Partner Awards, recognising partner excellence across global, regional and customer experience categories, rewarding partners who provide significant value to SugarCRM Customers: Provident CRM was named the #1 rated CRM provider in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

2018

Partnered with Salesforce

Dedicated to matching our customers with the best-fit products for their business, Provident CRM has always maintained a position of technology neutrality. In 2018 Provident became a Salesforce registered consulting partner, resolved to achieve the same high standards for CRM implementation and value to our customers as we have with our other partners' products.

2019

Dublin Headquarters Expanded

Provident's workforce grew exponentially in 2018/2019, with additional developers in addition to the formation of a new Salesforce division. To facilitate the growing space demands required for personal and hardware, Provident expanded into the two additional floors at 6/7 exchange place, occupying the entire building.

2019

Awarded Sugar CRM EMEA Partner of the Year, Again!

The SugarCRM Partner Awards recognise Provident CRM as the #1 CRM provider in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Provident CEO John Malone commented: "This is the second time we've been named Regional Reseller of the Year for EMEA, and we plan to continue expanding our reach - delivering SugarCRM customer success and innovation to even more clients."
