Like millions around the globe, we at Provident CRM are utterly heartbroken by the war in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis currently unfolding there.
Over two million people have now been forced to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighbouring countries, sparking the biggest movement of people in Europe since the Second World War.
Our thoughts are with the people affected by the crisis and with all those impacted at such a difficult and worrying time. As such, we are deeply committed to supporting humanitarian relief effort in Ukraine.
Thanks to the generosity of our staff at Provident CRM and the initiative from SumUp, a leading global financial technology company headquartered in London, we’ve managed to raise a total amount of €11,200 through Provident’s charitable matching program. The funds will go directly towards assisting vulnerable people in need of help in Ukraine.
All support will go a long way in helping with the transport of Ukrainians’ safe passage to Dublin, and also in the purchasing of fuel, food, and other supplies to people as they arrive in Ужгород and prepare to cross the Ukrainian border into Slovakia.

As Ukrainians try to find safety, they need our help more than ever, which is why SumUp is raising money for the Red Cross and pledging to match all donations, big or small, in March 2022 until they reach the goal of €1 million.
100% of the funds are being sent to the Red Cross and used to provide shelter, food, water and medical support to vulnerable people.
